This National Progression Award is delivered via blended learning and is perfect for those with a keen interest in horses or working with animals. It offers the opportunity to gain practical experience and as a pathway to many of our other full-time courses within the equine and animal care fields.

Who the course is for:
This introductory course is for students in S4, S5 and S6 who are working (or expected to be working) at SCQF Level 5.

Duration:
This course is runs from August to April.Ìý

Delivery:
This course is delivered predominantly online through flexible learning modules with the addition of 4 compulsory practical days held at ºÚ±¬ÁÏ Craibstone, Aberdeen campus. The course is run by a dedicated tutor who's able to support students in both elements of this course.Ìý

Qualification:
Students completing this course are awarded an SQA accredited National Progression Award (NPA) at Level 5 in Rural Skills: Equine Skills.

This course includes 4 practical days at our Aberdeen campus and is only available to those who can attend these compulsory days.
